MSC Hallamshire

About Us

Based in Sheffield, MSC Hallamshire is one of nine clubs in the UK and nearly 50 Europe-wide for gay and bisexual men into leather, rubber, uniform, skin gear and motorbikes and their associated life-styles. We are affiliated to the Fellowship of United Kingdom Clubs (FUKC), an umbrella organization which coordinates the events and parties of the member clubs at an annual conference weekend hosted by one of the clubs in the summer.

We are also members of the much larger European Confederation of Motorcycle Clubs (ECMC) which has a total membership of about 4500. The ECMC is governed by its Annual General Meeting held in the autumn of each year over a weekend, hosted by one of the member clubs. It has member clubs in some 16 countries. These organize a packed calendar of themed parties, meetings, bike runs and weekends for their members.

All the clubs share a common membership card, so a member of one ECMC club can attend events organized by another ECMC clubs at members’ rates, provided he follows the dress code required by the host club. Once a year, each club also organizes its ‘ECMC event’ to which members of other clubs are especially invited.

We also have links with the commercial gay leather scene and our ECMC membership card will give you discounts at many gay leather venues and shops in the UK and Europe.

MSC Hallamshire is governed by a simple constitution and an Annual General Meeting held each February which elects a small, voluntary committee to run the club for the next twelve months. Any full member can stand for office provided he can get two other full members to propose him.
